Upcoming Auditions
-
Prospect Theater Project announces its annual open season auditions on August 15, 2026. We are auditioning for all of our 2026-27 productions: our full-length plays, Radio Cavalcade, and One-Act Play Festival.
Auditioners will be asked to perform one prepared monologue, and read a short scene with a provided reader.
Please prepare ONE monologue, no more than 2 minutes in length.
Please do NOT use a monologue from television or film.
Copies of scenes will be sent at least one week prior to auditions, and will be uploaded to the audition info page.
Your total audition time (intro + monologue + scene) will be no longer than 5 minutes.
PLEASE NOTE: Callbacks for Silent Sky will be on Monday, August 17th in the evening
Auditions will be attended by PTP's Artistic Director, Laura Dickinson-Turner; our season directors Roberta Inscho, Katharine Zagone, Molly Souza, and Lisa Townsend; our Radio Cavalcade director Michael Hewitt; and One-Act Play Festival Producer Ally Munson.
NOTE: Depending on casting needs, we may hold additional production-specific auditions during the season, particularly after the selection of plays for the One-Act Festival is finalized in Spring.
