One-Act Play Festival
PTP’s One-Act Play Festival is an annual August event showcasing 6-8 short plays written, produced, and performed by local talent.
The goal of this program is to bring relevant local works to the stage while providing a valuable training opportunity to emerging artists and introducing new audiences to the live theatre experience. Local playwrights will have their work produced on the PTP stage, and local directors, stage managers, designers, and actors will exercise their skills and gain experience in a community theatre setting. This festival strengthens community bonds, provides a space for artists to engage in the unique human practice of storytelling, and is entertaining for a wide audience.
If you are a local playwright, director, or actor ready to showcase your work, this event is for you!
